Our clinic uses Augmented intelligence (AI) tools to assist with various aspects of your medical care, including transcribing notes and supporting diagnosis.
This means that computer programs may assist your provider by converting spoken words into written records and reviewing information to help make informed decisions about your health.
How AI Works Here:
- AI listens to and writes down what is said during your visit, creating electronic health records (EHRs) or a typed and printed record.
- Sometimes, AI helps your provider review test results or medical history to support diagnosis, or look up the ICD-10 (Billing Codes) by checking the diagnosis against publicly available, reliable databases that are commonly used by your providers, then checked by our office administrators in billing for accuracy after your visit.
- All AI-generated notes and suggestions are always checked and approved by your provider before they become part of your medical record.
Why We Use AI:
- AI helps your care team work more efficiently and spend more time focusing on you.
- It can help reduce errors from handwriting and improve the quality and safety of your care.
Your Privacy and Safety:
